Phillip Whiting
Phillip Whiting, MD grew up in the Uintah Basin and returned to the area in 2019 to serve the community as an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) surgeon at Uintah Basin Medical Center and Ashley Regional Medical Center. He earned his medical degree from The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed his residency in Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery at Eastern Virginia Medical School in partnership with Old Dominion University.
Dr. Whiting and his family live in Bluebell, where he enjoys backpacking, running, cycling, and spending time at the lake. He is honored to serve on the Upper Country Water Conservancy District Board and is committed to supporting responsible stewardship of the region’s water resources.
Phillip has served on the Upper Country Water Improvement District Board since January 2026, representing the Bluebell area.
